The Master Blaster carried his form from the third edition to the fourth. Having finished as the highest scorer in the 2010 edition, Tendulkar got very close to winning another Orange Cap. Having played 16 matches, he accumulated 553 runs at an average of 42.53 with two fifties and a hundred. The highlight was his century against Kochi Tuskers, his only three-figure performance in the shortest format.

The winner of the Orange Cap in the inaugural season made a good comeback in 2011. He was the highest scorer for his team, finishing with 504 runs, including four fifties, in 14 matches at a strike rate of 146.51. His highest score of 95 came against Delhi Daredevils at the Feroz Shah Kotla.
