#6 Kolkata Knight Riders - Jacques Kallis (424 runs)

Jacques Kallis represented RCB in the first three seasons of the IPL and moved to KKR for the fourth season. He had finished as the second highest scorer in the third season and continued this form in the fourth. Having played 15 matches, he scored 424 runs at an average of 35.33. This included four half-centuries. His highest score came against Rajasthan Royals, scoring 80 off 65 balls.

#7 Deccan Chargers - Shikhar Dhawan (400 runs)

Shikhar Dhawan is known for his explosive starts and free-flowing batting. Playing for the Deccan Chargers, he was one of the consistent players of the season. Even though his team's performance was dismal, Dhawan scored 400 runs in 14 matches. His strike-rate of 129 was key for the team to get off to good starts. His best knock was 95 against KXIP.
