The 2025 edition of the ICC Champions Trophy will be played in Pakistan and the UAE, spanning from February 19 to March 9. Conducted by the International Cricket Council (ICC), the tournament will feature eight of the top teams competing for the title. This edition marks the return of the event after an eight-year gap, following the last tournament in 2017 in England and Wales, where Pakistan defeated India in the final. Since its inception in 1998, the tournament originally followed a biennial format until 2009 before transitioning to a four-year cycle.

The 2025 ICC Champions Trophy is set to feature two dynamic groups, each showcasing some of the world's best cricketing nations. Group A includes Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and New Zealand, while Group B is made up of Afghanistan, England, Australia, and South Africa, as per ICC's official website. Each team will wear a distinct jersey that displays its colors, logo, and the player's name and number. These jerseys serve to identify players as members of their respective teams, helping spectators easily recognize them during matches. The uniform worn by each team during the game plays a key role in distinguishing one side from the other.
