#4 Harbhajan Singh – 64 (24) vs Kings XI Punjab, 2015

Harbhajan re-ignited hopes of an improbable win

Harbhajan Singh is renowned for his reckless and swashbuckling brand of cricket and has scared the hell out of several oppositions with his big-hitting prowess. At the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, things panned out similarly in an encounter between Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab.

After Punjab racked up 177 runs, Mumbai hustled and bustled to 59/6 in the 14th over, with the remaining six overs literally being a formality before Punjab registered a win. However, the man from Jalandhar was far from bowing down as he decided to have a crack at the target.

He got Mumbai ever so close to close with the fastest fifty by a Mumbai Indians’ batsman in 19 deliveries, which was garnished with six colossal blows over the ropes. Mumbai eventually lost the game but not before Harbhajan gave his home crowd something to cheer for.
