Afghanistan's Mohammad Nabi was the first player from his country to be picked for the IPL

Semi-finalists in the previous edition of the tournament, the Sunrisers Hyderabad have been a successful side in recent times. The composition of the Hyderabad side is mainly built along their Captain David Warner, and the franchise owners like to have overseas all-rounders and young Indian bowlers in their lineup.

Let us take a look at the five overseas players that the franchise should target.

#5 Mohammad Nabi (Afghanistan)

The first Afghan player to be picked in the Indian Premier League, Mohammad Nabi is a potential threat to the oppositions with his all-round abilities.

The off-spinner can be handy with the new ball with his off-spinning medium pacers. His speed variations are tough to pick for the batsmen. His explosive batting in the final overs of the innings is a plus point for franchises, they can use him as a floater in the batting order. Nabi is currently playing for the Melbourne Renegades in the Big Bash League.

#4 Mitchell Starc (Australia)

The left arm pacer is one of the best bowlers going in world cricket currently. Starc represented the Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2015 and was out of action for the next two editions.

Sunrisers Hyderabad will look to strengthen their bowling department with the addition of the fiery bowler.

The tall lanky pacer has picked up 34 wickets in 27 matches at an average of 20.38. Starc can bowl at the beginning and at the back end of the innings with Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowling from the other end. The two pacers can restrict the flow of runs while bowling together.

#3 Shakib Al Hasan (Bangladesh)

The Bangladeshi all-rounder is a valuable asset for his team. Shakib is useful in the middle overs with his bowling, and his economy is a bonus in limited overs cricket.

His ability to rotate the strike in the middle overs adds to his value. Shakib can play the anchor's role in the middle and can also strike the ball when needed. The slow pitches in Hyderabad require more spinners.

He has picked up 43 wickets in the IPL, with an average of 25.60, and averages 21.65 with the willow in hand. The 30-year-old is expected to be beneficial for the franchises.

#2 Aaron Finch (Australia)

The Australian opener has been in extraordinary form recently. Finch has batted brilliantly in the two previous editions of the tournament. The Aussie opener provides stability to the batting order.

The former GL batsman can play at the top of the order and in the middle as well. His ability to hit the spinners is an advantage for him when he bats in the middle overs. The explosive opener has scored 693 runs in the last two editions of the tournament at an average of 28.87.

The franchise will look to bid for the 31-year-old, SRH skipper David Warner and Aaron Finch open the innings together for Australia in limited overs cricket.

#1 David Miller (South Africa)

The Sunrisers Hyderabad may look to procure South African batsman David Miller who is known for his exploits as a middle order batsman.

The left-hander can change the momentum of the game with his hitting ability. The former Kings XI Punjab can be used in SRH as a finisher especially as the franchise has always lacked a good one.

Miller has an average of 35.52 with a strike rate of 141.44 in the Indian Premier League(IPL) and his base price is ₹ 1.5 crores. The Hyderabad franchise may look to procure him.
