We now head to the beautiful Chepauk, where two-time champions, Chennai Super Kings, and Kolkata Knight Riders will meet for their respective second match of the season. Chennai Super Kings will be playing at Chepauk after almost two years. Thus, we can expect a full-house dipped in the colors of yellow for the support of MS Dhoni and men.

Both, CSK and KKR, kick-started their tournament with a win against MI and RCB respectively. CSK and KKR have met seven times at time at the Chepauk, and KKR has won only two of the seven matches.

Kedar Jadhav has been ruled out of the IPL due to a hamstring injury. Jadhav's injury opens up a place in the CSK middle-order. Ideally, they will want Rayudu to go down to No.4 and bring in either Vijay or Jagadeesan to partner Shane Watson at the top.

Meanwhile, KKR alike CSK coming off from a win wouldn't like to tinker the combination an would be playing with the same combination.

Let us now look at three milestones that are waiting in the line for Chennai Super Kings as we play about the match.

#1 MS Dhoni close to scoring 3000 IPL runs for CSK

The ultimate boss of CSK, MS Dhoni, is close to yet another milestone. MS Dhoni needs eight more runs to complete 3000 IPL runs for Chennai Super Sings. Notching eight more runs, MS Dhoni will become the only second player for Chennai Super Kings after Suresh Raina to score 3000 or more runs for a single IPL team.

Till date, MS Dhoni has scored 3566 IPL runs at an average of 37.53, and a strike-rate of 136.68. Out of these 3566 runs, he has scored 2992 runs for CSK.

#2 Ambati Rayadu approaching 2500-run mark in IPL

The new-recruit of the CSK squad, Ambati Rayadu, is merrily approaching an IPL milestone. The fluent batsman needs 62 more runs to achieve the mark of 2500 IPL runs. Amassing these 62 runs, Ambati will become the 14th Indian player in the history of IPL to score 2500 or more runs in the history of IPL. Ambati Rayadu has scored 2438 IPL runs at an average of 27.09, and a strike-rate of 126.06.

With the kind of form Rayadu is in, he is expected to caress the milestone in the match against KKR.

#3 MS Dhoni and wicket-keeping: A story forever

Another milestone in the line for MS Dhoni is of most stumpings in the history of IPL. Currently, Robin Uthappa is leading the chart with 32 IPL stumpings to his name. Thus, MS Dhoni needs to affect three more stumpings to surpass Robin Uthappa and top the charts of most IPL stumpings. Meanwhile, Dinesh Karthik is in the competition as well with 26 stumpings to his name.

Interestingly, both, Dinesh Karthik and MS Dhoni, have affected 106 dismissals in IPL so far. Thus, in today's encounter between CSK and KKR, we might see MS Dhoni breaking yet another wicket-keeping record. With Dinesh Karthik keeping the side for KKR, we will witness a decent competition (from a stats point of view) between MS Dhoni and Dinesh Karthik.
