Deepak Chahar is one of the best new ball bowlers in IPL 2018. The Rajasthan medium pacer came into the tournament after an impressive Syed Mushtaq Ali tournament 2017/18, where he picked up 19 wickets.
The 25-year-old took the new ball in most of the league games for Chennai Super Kings and did an incredible job.
He swung the ball and troubled a lot of batsmen with his accuracy and movement of the deck. Chahar has picked up 10 wickets this season at an economy rate of 7.40. Bought for a meager Rs 80 lakh in the 2018 auction, Chahar has been impressive throughout the IPL campaign. Dhoni would want him to give one more good performance in the final on Sunday.
