After picking up a five-wicket haul in his debut Test against India, Lungi Ngidi has become a vital component of the South African bowling lineup. He might be the youngest member of this CSK outfit but his ability to hurry the batsman into playing shots makes him the best wicket taking the option.

He played just 7 matches last season but picked up 11 wickets at an outstanding economy of 6. He has picked up 59 wickets in 50 T20s and his reputation as a world-class bowler is increasing with each passing series.

His bowling spell of 4/10 against Kings XI Punjab in IPL 2018 was arguably the best spell of the tournament and CSK fans will be hoping that he performs according to his potential. Since Dwayne Bravo’s reputation as a death overs specialist has faded away in recent months, Dhoni will be tempted to use him more at the death overs.
