Keemo Paul's bowling has been a bright spot in the two matches that he has played. He has stuck to his line and lengths and has not leaked a lot of runs and looked like a bowler, who is hard to score runs off. However, he plays the role of an all-rounder in the team and he hasn't impressed anyone with his batting. He has managed to score a duck and three runs in the two innings that he has played so far.

Moreover, he came in at a time when the team had a solid foundation and all he needed to do was get the big shots. However, he failed to do so and that is why Harshal Patel needs to come into the team. Patel had a good season in 2018 and he played a couple of impressive knocks. The 28-year-old is a dependable bowler and is primarily a batting all-rounder, which is why it makes complete sense to send him ahead of Keemo Paul in the team.
