The Mumbai Indians have always thrived under pressure. They have one of the strongest squads in the league and are well-equipped to deal with a Super Over situation.

Batsmen: Kieron Pollard and Hardik Pandya (Openers), Rohit Sharma (No.3)

Two of the most powerful strikers of the ball, Kieron Pollard and Hardik Pandya, should open the batting for the side in a Super Over. Skipper Rohit Sharma, who excelled while batting in a Super Over earlier this year, should come in at No.3. Rohit can open the batting as well, with one of Pandya or Pollard dropping to No.3.

Bowler(s): Jasprit Bumrah

This is a no-brainer. Jasprit Bumrah is one of the best death bowlers in the world and has defended scores in Super Over situations before. While MI does have other choices in Trent Boult and Nathan Coulter-Nile, they shouldn't and won't look past Bumrah.

Batsmen: Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson (Openers), Ben Stokes or Steve Smith (No.3)

Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson should be the openers in the Super Over for the Royals. While Buttler's numbers in the format speak for themselves, Samson has turned into a vital cog for the Royals and can play some big shots. He was, in fact, trusted to bat in the Super Over for the national team in the T20s against New Zealand.

Steve Smith or Ben Stokes should walk out to bat at No.3 for the Royals, although David Miller could be considered if he's a part of the playing XI.

Bowler(s): Jofra Archer

Jofra Archer is the leader of the Royals' pace attack and is the side's main death bowler. He should bowl the Super Over ahead of the likes of Unadkat or Stokes. If they feel that a spinner bowling the Super Over could be better, the very impressive Shreyas Gopal is another option to consider.
