Owing to their poor performance last season, it was imperative for KKR to make mass changes to their squad. And they did that by releasing the likes of Robin Uthappa, Chris Lynn, and Piyush Chawla and dishing out big bucks in getting the services of Pat Cummins, Eoin Morgan, and Varun Chakravarthy.

KKR bought Pat Cummins for a whopping 15.5 crores. While Cummins has been in the form of his life, it will be interesting to see whether he can transform that in the IPL. Also, he has been injury-prone throughout his career. KKR's batting will need to step up big time to change things around for them in the upcoming season.
