Devdutt Padikkal: 2/10

Padikkal registered his second failure of IPL 2020. His struggles against off-spinners was well documented coming into this game, and he did nothing to dispel those theories as he holed out in the deep off Ashwin. It was a rash shot from the young southpaw, and quite unlike what he's shown so far in IPL 2020.

Aaron Finch: 2/10

Finch was woeful in this game - he offered a catch each to Rabada and Dhawan, before finally nicking one off Axar. The Aussie opener has scored one fifty in IPL 2020, but apart from that innings, he's looked all at sea.

Virat Kohli: 6.5/10

Kohli was the only RCB batsman to score more than 20 runs in this game, but even he struggled to accelerate with the required run rate increasing rapidly. The RCB skipper was tied up by Axar before he finally inside-edged one off Rabada.

AB de Villiers: 3/10

De Villiers hit a couple of fours in the 6 balls that he was at the crease, but perished playing a loft off his countryman Nortje. The South African's dismissal came at an inopportune time, and it was a very poor shot from the experienced professional.

Shivam Dube: 3/10

Dube came in with a number of overs to go for the second time in IPL 2020, but despite managing one six, he was unable to reduce the margin of RCB's defeat. The all-rounder didn't get to bowl in this game, and there's no doubt that his batting alone is not good enough to warrant a place in the side.

Moeen Ali: 4/10

Ali's only contribution in this game was to claim that wicket of DC captain Shreyas Iyer, as he went for 21 runs off 2 overs and scored only 11 runs off 13 balls. It wasn't the best introduction to IPL 2020 for the Englishman, who will want to perform at a higher level in the coming games.

Washington Sundar: 8/10

Sundar was the only RCB bowler with an economy rate less than 8.5, as the off-spinner conceded only 20 runs in his 4 overs while bowling 3 of them in the powerplay. The Tamil Nadu man received a promotion ahead of Dube, but apart from a couple of gorgeous shots, he didn't do enough with the bat. Overall, though, his performance was perhaps the only positive for RCB in this game.

Isuru Udana: 4.5/10

Udana went for 40 runs in his 4 overs and picked up the wicket of Shikhar Dhawan in this game. He started off poorly against Prithvi Shaw, and although he managed to pull things back slightly at the death, RCB will be praying for the return of Chris Morris.

Mohammed Siraj: 7.5/10

Siraj bowled with fire and passion for RCB in this game, and picked up the wickets of Rishabh Pant and Prithvi Shaw. Apart from a nightmare no-ball that went for six, the pacer was accurate and quick.

Navdeep Saini: 1/10

Nothing went right for Saini on the night, as he conceded 48 runs in 3 overs. The RCB spearhead was taken to the cleaners by Shaw and Stoinis, although he should've had the wicket of the latter.

Yuzvendra Chahal: 1/10

Chahal was another RCB strike bowler who had an off-day, perhaps for the first time in IPL 2020. The leg-spinner conceded 29 runs in his 3 overs, and despite a hint of turn on offer, couldn't keep up with the form that he has displayed in the tournament so far. He also dropped a catch in the deep that cost RCB a considerable amount of runs.
