Chris Gayle has won the Orange cap for the total of 2 times in the history of IPL.

Chris Gayle remains as one of the most hard-hitting player of the T20 format in cricket. His aggressive nature of batting is his main strength which has lifted Gayle to a whole new level. He can slog every ball for a six irrespective to the line and length of the ball.

Even the bowlers feel the pressure and fear while bowling to him as he creates a downfall in their bowling reports.

So far, Gayle has been one of the strongest players from the entire RCB side along with Virat Kohli. He has played the role of a savior for his franchise in many instances when his team needed him the most. Along with bat, he can also turn the match with his off-spin bowling by working as a partnership breaker for his side.

Gayle won the Orange Cap award during the 4th season of IPL as he was the leading run scorer of that edition. He scored a total of 608 runs from 12 matches which helped him win this award.
