The ICC Men's ODI World Cup will be staged across 10 different venues in India between October 05-November 19, 2023.
Just like the previous editions, this World Cup will be greeted with plenty of dynamic boundary hitters from all over the world.
And, it's just not about hitting those monstrous sixes. It's also about having the ability to slice the gap and stroke 4s at regular intervals.
Over the years, we have seen several batsmen showcased that art at the grandest stage of them all, but none has done it better than Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar.

Tendulkar featured in 6 World Cups, and apart from hitting the most number of runs and centuries, he also smashed the maximum number of 4s. Out of 2560 deliveries that he faced across 44 innings, the champion batsman sent them past the boundary rope a staggering 241 times.
Following Sachin is Sri Lanka's run-machine, Kumar Sangakkara, who hammered as many as 147 4s off 1770 deliveries in his World Cup career.
Three-time World Cup-winner Ricky Ponting is at the 3rd spot with 145 fours in 42 innings.

Ponting is followed by his teammate, and legendary wicketkeeper-batsman Adam Gilchrist, who flayed the ball past the boundary ropes 141 times in just 1107 deliveries.
The top-5 is completed by former New Zealand opener Stephen Fleming. The southpaw faced 1398 deliveries across 4 World Cup campaigns and scored 134 fours.
