Bengal Pro T20 League 2024: Top run-getters and wicket-takers after Shrachi Rarh Tigers vs Harbour Diamonds (Updated) ft. Sayan Mondal & Akash Deep

On Thursday, June 13, the Servotech Siliguri Strikers squared off against the Murshidabad Kings in the fourth match of the Bengal Pro T20 League 2024. Shrachi Rarh Tigers met Harbour Diamonds in the following match.

The Murshidabad Kings fielded first in the first game of the day and bowled Strikers out for 113 in 19.1 overs. Abhishek Raman (25), Vikas Singh (31), and Akash Deep (30) scored in double digits while the rest were dismissed for single-digit scores. Nitin Verma took three wickets for the Kings while Sayed Irfan Aftab, Vikas Singh, and Jeet Thakur claimed two each.

In reply, skipper Sudip Gharami’s unbeaten 48-run knock and Shuvam Dey’s 37 helped the Strikers reach the target in 17.5 overs and with seven wickets in hand. Akash Deep snatched three wickets for the Strikers.

In the second game, Rarh Tigers posted 141 runs against Harbour Diamonds, despite losing four wickets in the powerplay. Arindam Ghosh, skipper Shahbaz Ahmed, and Pradipta Pramanik added runs to the total in the lower order.

Mohammed Kaif led the Diamonds’ bowling attack, chipping in three wickets. Aritra Chatterjee bagged two while Anurag Tiwari took one.

In reply, Sayan Mondal played a solid 51-run knock from 45 balls and provided Diamonds a dream start. However, they kept losing wickets at regular intervals and fell short of 23 runs.

Sayan Mondal stole the first spot from Shantanu (44), after scoring 55 runs in the previous match. Following closely with 54 runs, Arindam Ghosh secured the second rank.

Vikas Singh from Siliguri Strikers scored 31 runs in the last game, taking his tally to 51 runs. He is ranked third in the most-runs leaderboard.

Writtick Chatterjee smashed a fifty in the last game, comprising six boundaries, and grabbed the fourth position.

Shantanu dropped from first to fifth with 44 runs while Badal Singh Balyan (37) slipped from second to sixth.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru bowler Akash Deep took a three-wicket haul on Thursday and now tops the most wickets leaderboard with four wickets.

Harbour Diamonds’ Aritra Chatterjee also picked up two wickets in the previous game and jumped from fourth to second with four wickets. His teammate Mohammed Kaif bagged three wickets in the same match and occupied the third position.

Servotech Siliguri Strikers’ Suraj Singh Jaiswal, who went wicketless in the last game is ranked fourth with four wickets in his account.
