Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar greeted Bollywood actor Aamir Khan after attending a screening of the latter's new movie 'Sitaare Zameen Par' post the IPL 2025 season. The sports-comedy drama is set to release on June 20.

After attending the screening of the film, Sachin Tendulkar met Aamir Khan and the other cast members of the movie. In a video that has surfaced on social media, Aamir can be seen playing foosball when he is informed about Sachin entering the room. The two shook hands and shared a hug. Sachin was accompanied by his wife, Anjali Tendulkar.

Upon noticing Sachin Tendulkar, all those present in the room began chanting 'Sachin Sachin' and clapping in utmost joy. The legendary cricketer can also be seen going around the room and hugging everyone while posing for pictures.

Sachin Tendulkar and wife Anjali attend 'Sitaare Zameen Par' screening in Mumbai

On Friday, June 6, Sachin Tendulkar and Anjali Tendulkar were seen entering the screening of the film 'Sitaare Zameen Par' in Mumbai. The iconic duo got out of their car and posed for the cameras before going in.

Sachin was a part of the Mumbai Indians (MI) as their mentor in the recently concluded IPL 2025 season. MI lost four out of their first five matches but made a stellar comeback to finish in the top four. They beat the Gujarat Titans (GT) in the Eliminator but fell short against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the second qualifier, bringing an end to their campaign.

MI are among the most successful teams in the history of the IPL. They have won the trophy the most number of times alongside the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Both teams have won five IPL titles so far.
