SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) batter Sachin Baby shared a couple of heartwarming pictures on social media of his son meeting Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Hardik Pandya during the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) season. The Kerala cricketer gave fans a glimpse of the special moment.
On Monday, June 9, the 36-year-old shared a post on Instagram featuring his son, Steve Sachin, interacting with and posing for photos alongside star all-rounder Hardik Pandya at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

The left-hander made a solitary appearance for SRH during the 2025 season in a rain-affected match against Delhi Capitals (DC). He neither batted nor bowled, as only one innings, played by DC, was possible due to the weather disruption.
Meanwhile, the Pat Cummins-led SRH side missed out on a playoff spot, finishing sixth on the points table with 13 points from 14 matches.
Throughout his IPL career, Sachin Baby has featured in 20 matches, scoring 144 runs in 11 innings at an average of 16.00 and a strike rate of 122.03, with his highest score being 33. He has also taken two wickets.

Sachin Baby made his first-class debut in 2009 and has since played 100 matches. The left-hander has scored 5,747 runs at an average of 39.90, including 29 half-centuries and 14 centuries, with a career-best unbeaten 250.
The 36-year-old has also featured in 102 List A matches, amassing 3,266 runs at an average of 40.32 and a strike rate of 79.73. His record includes 22 half-centuries and four centuries, with a highest score of 127.
In addition, he has played 103 T20 matches, scoring 2,026 runs at an average of 29.79 and an impressive strike rate of 131.98, including 10 half-centuries.
