Rajasthan Royals (RR) opener Yashasvi Jaiswal posed with a couple of his teammates and Mumbai Indians (MI) players ahead of the match between the two sides in IPL 2024 on Monday. The Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur will host the game tonight.

On the eve of the match, Jaiswal shared a picture on the story of his official Instagram handle with an interesting caption. In it, he could be seen along with Suryakumar Yadav, Dhruv Jurel, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Shreyas Gopal. He captioned:

"दो लोग गार्डन में घूमने वाले और दो लोग लोगों को पिच पे घुमाने वाले (Two people who walk in the garden and two people who make people walk on the pitch)."

After stellar performances for India coming into the IPL, many expected Yashavi Jaiswal to score a heap of runs this season. It has not been the case as the left-hander could not do much with the bat in the seven games so far for Rajasthan, scoring only 121 runs.

"I am once again going with Yashasvi Jaiswal" - Aakash Chopra's choice for RR player to watch out for in upcoming IPL 2024 clash vs MI

Former Indian opener Aakash Chopra recently previewed the upcoming IPL 2024 match between Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals in a video on his YouTube channel. He picked Yashasvi Jaiswal as one of the players to watch out for from the RR side for tonight's game.

In a video uploaded to his YouTube channel, Chopra said:

"I am once again going with Yashasvi Jaiswal. Even if we see the last match, he was batting well. The bat is striking the ball well now but he is trying to murder the ball, that he would hit so hard that the ball breaks into two pieces. You don't have to break the ball into pieces."

Elaborating his point of view, Chopra added:

"The second reason is that not much might has been seen in Mumbai's bowling. If you play Mumbai's bowling properly for a little while, you can score big runs. We have seen that repeatedly. You have to survive against Jasprit Bumrah a little but he will bowl only one over at the start."
