Royal Challengers Banglore - Mitchell Starc

Mitchell Starc is probably one of the best bowlers in the world in all the three formats at the moment. His ability to ball the perfect toe- crushers at a deadly pace is quite a rare skill for any bowler to possess. Hence, he tends to create fear in the minds of the batsmen. Due to injury, Starc was unable to play for the Kolkata Knight Riders last year and hence was rightly released by the team.

Starc has played for the Royal Challengers Banglore before, having picked up 34 wickets in 27 matches at a decent average of 20.38 and economy rate of 7.16. Being a proven performer for them in the past, Starc is also the right player to resolve their death bowling problem.

Rajasthan Royals - Vinay Kumar

Vinay Kumar is an experienced player in this format, having played in the IPL since 2008. He can start the proceedings with the new ball as well as bowl the death overs for his side. Hence, due to these abilities, he has been part of several IPL franchises in the past.

Having released Jaydev Unadkat, the Rajasthan Royals are in dire need of an Indian fast bowler to complement Jofra Archer. With a weak domestic fast bowling attack at their disposal, they could strengthen their bowling department with the inclusion of Vinay Kumar in their side.
