The swashbuckling southpaw from the rainbow nation is one of the batsman bowlers like to stay away from during matches, the South African clearly abides by his quote "If it is in the V, it is going in the tree, if it is in the arc, it goes out of the park".

David Miller has been a part of the South African international squad since 2010 but his chances have been far and few, he could barely make an impact before he completely disappeared from the international scene in 2012.

His chance for redemption came in the 2013 IPL season when playing for Kings XI Punjab, he smashed a century off just 38 balls and soon became the talk of the town. He finished the IPL season with 418 runs at an average of 59.71 with three fifties and one century to his name.

Miller's successful IPL season earned him a call-up to Proteas 2013 Champions League squad and since then, he has become a regular member of South Africa's limited overs squads.

Since the 2013 IPL season, Miller has played in 92 ODIs and 52 T20Is and is an integral part of the Proteas international limited overs squad. He is also a regular fixture in Kings XI Punjab's matchday squad.
