Mumbai Indians opener Suryakumar Yadav was one of the standout performers for the Mumbai franchise in the last season. He was the highest run scorer for the team, managing to outscore the likes of Rohit Sharma, Evin Lewis and Hardik Pandya.

Yadav played 14 matches and scored 512 runs at an average of 36.57 including 4 fifties. He scored his runs at a strike rate of 133.33

#4 Virat Kohli - Royal Challengers Bangalore (530 runs)

Virat Kohli, in spite of having a sub-par season last year by his lofty standards, is on the fourth spot of this list. The Indian captain did score in excess of 500 runs but could not take his team into the qualifiers as he lacked support from the other batsmen.

The complete failure of the bowling department was also one of the major reasons for a disappointing season for RCB.

Kohli played 14 matches and scored 530 runs at an average of 48.18 including 4 fifties. He scored his runs at a strike rate of 139.11

#3 Ambati Rayudu - Chennai Super Kings (602 runs)

He played 14 matches last year and scored 659 runs at an average of 54.92 including 6 fifties. He scored his runs at an impressive strike rate of 158.41.
