Fortnite Live Event Date & Timings

The Fortnite Rift Tour will be kicking off on August 6, 2021. The Rift Tour’s first phase will last through to August 8, with Ariana Grande performing. She is the only confirmed artist so far, as the rest of the Rift Tour hasn’t yet been scheduled or announced. There have been leaks rumoring a Juice WRLD concert, but thus far the only confirmed performing artist is Ariana Grande. Here are the dates and times for her shows in Fortnite.

  1. August 6 at 6:00 pm EST
  2. August 7 at 2:00 pm EST
  3. August 8 at 12:00 am EST
  4. August 8 at 10:00 am EST
  5. August 8 at 6:00 pm EST

What to expect during the live event?

Music can be expected. Ariana Grande will be performing at the times mentioned above for the Rift Tour, and will likely be playing some of her biggest hits like 7 rings (which is also the name of the pickaxe releasing with the Ariana Grande bundle), Thank U, Next, god is a woman and more. There’s no setlist yet, but these are some of her most popular songs. It’s unknown whether or not she will have any of her songs with other artists, as no one has been confirmed yet. The previous artists, Travis Scott and Marshmello, were just concerts rather than a tour, so this is an unprecedented event for Fortnite. There will be singing and dancing all throughout the live event.

Venue:

The venue is unclear right now. There has been no confirmed venue yet, so there’s no telling where players may end up watching the Rift Tour on the island. There have been rumors that the live event will juggle players throughout different dimensions, hence the rift reference in the name, so it could be all over the map. It could also be in different realities or dimensions. The possibilities for this type of event are limitless. The players will likely not have to travel during the event that it is a changing venue, though, as the game will likely transport them there automatically.

Performances:

Ariana Grande is the only confirmed performer. There have been rumors and leaks of other artists following her up, but nothing confirmed by Epic Games. The late Juice WRLD has been leaked, and Dababy recently had a leaked emote revealed, hinting at the possibility of his appearance. He has become embroiled in controversy over some homphobic comments he made at a concert of his recently which may alter Fortnite’s initial plan for this event. Still, after Ariana Grande it’s anyone’s guess right now and it’s unclear if she will be alone or not during her section of the Rift Tour.

Event duration:

Currently, the event is scheduled for August 6-8. This is just for Phase 1, as many dataminers and Fortnite content creators have pointed out, but there are no dates for the rest of the Rift Tour. As it stands, the only thing players can expect is for there to be live concerts happening at various times between August 6 and August 8. Everything else after is just speculation at this point.
