Mariana Álvarez and Gustavo Álvarez
Julián Álvarez is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a forward for Manchester City and the Argentina national team. Born on January 31, 2000, Álvarez began his senior career with River Plate, making his debut in 2018. He joined Manchester City in January 2022 but stayed on loan at River Plate until July of that year.
Gustavo Alvarez supported the family by working as a truck driver while Mariana was fond of kids and worked at nursery school. Mariana is a passionate teacher who worked in childcare for the Calchin preschool program. Her efforts have gained the family a lot of respect and it is no wonder that her son feels blessed about his family.
His father, who is a former amateur footballer, and his mother, have roots in the Argentine province of Córdoba, where Julian himself was born and raised. His family has been supportive of his football career from an early age. They are both of white, spanish descent.
