The Fortnite Champion Series (abbreviated as FNCS), is the prestigious Tournament in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was first held in Season X in a trios format and has been held every season since as a duos format since Chapter 2 Season 2. The tournament usually starts near the end of each season and is open to players in the Platinum league in the Ranked. Each region has its own FNCS and is region-locked. The FNCS offers the largest prize money of all online tournaments.
To participate in the Majors, the Duos partner must have reached Platinum I rank in Ranked Battle Royale. After reaching this rank, they can compete in the FNCS by achieving a qualifying position in any of the three FNCS 2024 Majors. Major 1, Major 2, and Major 3 will pit players against other competitive Fortnite players in their matchmaking region, and they will be awarded Series Points based on their performance.
Fortnite Championship Series (FNCS) 2024 is back with a grand $7,675,000 prize pool. There will be a total of three Majors that will end in an epic in-person showdown at the FNCS Global Championship 2024 at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas on the 7th and 8th of September, 2024.
There are currently six regions in FNCS - Asia, Brazil, the European Union, the Middle East, North America, and Oceania. These are some of the players from each region to look out for in FNCS 2024:
Asia - Jon and Michael8, XMipoli and Koyota, Minipayo and Fuukun
Brazil- Persa and EdRoadToGlory, Cadu and Seeyun, Nutifps and Renato
EU- Setty and Kami, Merstach and Malibuca, Vadeal and Rezon Ay
ME- FHC and Nachiiri, Kalgamer and 7man, Adapter and FKS
NA- Acorn and Cold, Peterborough and Pollo, Mongraal and MrSavage
Oceania- Volx and Looter, Danath and Tinka, Fisher and Anon
These are some of the top players from around the world who will compete against each other to take home a share of the prize pool and be crowned FNCS Champions. Aside from the impressive prize pool, winners are rewarded with the exclusive Axe Of Champions 2.0, which can only be obtained by winning the FNCS.
Every Battle Royale Season during FNCS 2024 will also feature two FNCS Community Cups, where players can compete to earn in-game cosmetics! The first FNCS Community Cup of a Season will feature a new bundle as the prize, while the second will feature the returning FNCS Global Championship 2023 Bundle that players can obtain to immerse themselves in this grand Esports tournament.
