PMPL South Asia 2020

PUBG Mobile Pro League for South Asia is a PUBG Mobile Professional league showcasing teams from India and South Asia. 20 qualified teams from India, Nepal and Bangladesh will be coming together to compete for the $200,000 prize pool and to secure a spot in the PUBG Mobile World League(PMWL). PMPL 2020, one of the biggest global esports events in PUBG Mobile will take place for 3 action packed weeks, 4 match days a week and 5 matches a day.

PMPL South Asia 2020 Dates


The tournament was postponed by PUBG Mobile due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. The event will resume on 22nd May 2020.


PMPL South Asia 2020 Prize Pool


The teams will battle against each other for a massive pool prize of $200,000 and the split is as follows -


First - $10,000

Second - $8,000

Third - $6,000

Fourth - $4,000

Fifth - $3,500

Sixth - $3,500

Seventh - $2,000

Eighth - $2,000

Ninth to 12th - $1,500

13th to 16th - $1,250

17th to 20th - $1,000


The Top 3 teams will qualify for PUBG Mobile World League: Spring 2020 - East and the top 16 teams will qualify for PUBG Mobile Pro League - Spring Split 2020: South Asia Finals.


There are also weekly rewards for MVP and most points. The distribution of the following is mentioned below.

Format


The Format for the PUBG Mobile Pro League 2020 is as follows -


  1. 3 Weeks of League Play where 20 Teams are split into five groups.
  2. The Tournament is played in a league round robin format where each team plays 16 matches per week.
