PMPL Season 2 is a PUBG Mobile Professional league showcasing teams from seven regions. The event starts from 14th August with the Indonesian region. The whole event is live streamed on the PUBG Mobile Esports' official YouTube channel. PMPL Season 2 has introduced a new point system to balance between placement and kills scored throughout the tournament.
The second season of the PMPL will begin on 14 August 2020 and will go on till October starting with the Indonesian region. The event will start for the other regions one after the other.
PUBG Mobile Pro League Season 2 offers a massive prize pool of 150,000 USD.
The PMPL Season 2 tournament features 24 teams in total. The 24 teams will be divided into 3 groups of 8 teams each. 16 teams from PMPL Season 1 are directly invited for the event. The other 8 teams are the qualified teams from the PUBG Mobile Indonesia National Championship(PINC) event.
The league stage of the event will go on for five weeks and the matches will take place from Friday to Sunday. Six games will be played by each team on the match days. The top 16 teams from the points table will move to the Finals.
