Adam Derek Scott AM, an Australian professional golfer who primarily competes on the PGA Tour, was born on July 16, 1980. From mid-May to the end of August 2014, he held the top spot in the world golf rankings. On many of the major tours in golf, he has won 31 professional tournaments, three of which were unofficial money events.


The 2013 Masters Tournament was Scott's biggest victory to date. It was also the only major title an Australian had ever won. The 2004 Players Championship, the 2011 WGC-Bridgestone Invitational, and the 2016 WGC-Cadillac Championship are a few other noteworthy victories.


Scott finished in second place at the 2012 Open Championship after leading by four strokes with four holes remaining and then bogeying them all to lose by one stroke to Ernie Els.
