Denny McCarthy, an American professional golfer, competes on the PGA Tour as of March 2025. He went to Georgetown Preparatory School, followed by the University of Virginia, earning All-American honors and nine amateur titles, including the 2015 Porter Cup. Further, he also won three Maryland Opens, a professional event, as an amateur in 2010, 2013, and 2015.

McCarthy turned professional later in 2015 and played on the Web.com Tour (now the Korn Ferry Tour). Three seasons later, he won the Web.com Tour Championship, earning him the PGA Tour card for the season. However, he hasn't yet won a PGA event as of March 2025.
