Scottie Scheffler, born in Ridgewood, New Jersey, United States on June 21, 1996, is an American golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. Having maintained the top spot on the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) for over 130 weeks, he initially attained the rank in March 2022.

Turning professional in 2018, Scheffler has won a total of 20 professional tournaments, including two early at the Korn Ferry Tour, one Hero World Challenge, and the rest on the PGA Tour, as of May 2025. He also won two Masters Tournaments in 2022 and 2024 and the PGA Championship in 2025. Notably, he also won at the 2024 Paris Olympics, earning a gold medal for the United States.

Scottie Scheffler PGA Tour Wins

Scottie Scheffler has won 15 PGA Tour events, as of May 2025. Scheffler has won three majors as well. He joined the PGA Tour in 2020 and earned his first PGA Tour win at the 2022 Waste Management Phoenix Open over Patrick Cantlay in a playoff. Scheffler won the World Golf Championship (WGC) at the 2022 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play and became the top-ranked golfer on the OWGR next month. In April, he won the 2022 Masters Tournament, beating Rory McIlroy and earning his first golf major.

In 2023, Scheffler defended his Waste Management Phoenix Open title and won the Players Championship, beating Nick Taylor and Tyrell Hatton respectively. For both the 2022 and 2023 seasons, he won the PGA Tour's Money List and Player of the Year awards. In March 2024, he defended his Players Championship title, becoming the first golfer to do so in history. Scheffler also won at the Masters Tournament for the second time, defeating Ludvig Aberg by four strokes. His most recent PGA Tour win was at the 2024 Tour Championship, defeating Collin Morikawa by four strokes. He won his first FedEx Cup and $25 million as the winner's share.
