Musket in GTA 5

The Musket is a gun with a long barrel like a rifle, even though it is a shotgun in the game. It has a wooden finish and an intricate metal design above the trigger. It resembles a British brown bess musket from the 19th century. The name Edinburgh is engraved on the top of the barrel. While reloading, the player is seen refilling the barrel with some gunpowder and then loading the bullets.

The Musket deals heavy damage and a single shot can penetrate through multiple bodies. It does damage almost equal to that of the heavy sniper rifle taking out a car's engine in two shots and setting it on fire. Even a helicopter’s rotor can be taken out in two shots with the musket, however it has a reload time of 4.5 seconds which can prove to be an issue. Due to the musket’s heavy rounds, the target is left in a pool of blood after being shot.

1. After downloading the DLC, it is automatically added to the protagonist's inventory.
