From the High Court End, the square boundaries are 66m to the off-side for the right-hander and only 60m to the on-side. Straight down the ground, it is 74m. There is a good covering of grass on this surface, but the area from the fuller side of good length to the entire stretch of what we call the full length, is dry. Water has been put to try and keep those bare patches together, but it does seem like the cracks are going to open up just a wee bit. You get that here at the Eden Gardens. It might just be on the slower side initially, but otherwise, especially in the second half under lights, it should be good to bat on.
