Mike Perry is an acclaimed combat sports athlete hailing from the United States of America. He started his professional career as a mixed martial artist and debuted in the sport in 2014. After having a clinical run in his initial seven fights, Perry went on to join the coveted professional mixed martial arts organization, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Riding high on a perfect record of seven wins and no loss Mike Perry entered the UFC octagon for the first time on August 20, 2016. He was pitted against Lim Hyun-gyu in a welterweight showdown on the main card of UFC 202. Perry maintained his unbeaten record and defeated Hyun-gyu by a first-round TKO and kicked off his journey in the UFC with a dominant win.

After competing in the UFC for almost half a decade Mike Perry’s contract with the UFC ended in 2021. He decided to join the American bare-knuckle boxing organization BKFC after getting released from the UFC and made his debut in the organization in February 2022. Having had a reasonable run in MMA and a clinical record in BKFC, Mike Perry will next be seen while taking on the American internet personality turned boxer Jake Paul in a cruiserweight boxing showdown. The duo will face each other on July 20, 2024, in Tampa, Florida, USA, in a four-round bout.

Santiago Ponzinibbio vs. Mike Perry

Mike Perry faced Santiago Ponzinibbio on December 16, 2017. The duo locked horns in a welterweight bout on the main card of UFC on Fox: Lawler vs. dos Anjos. Ponzinibbio won the fight by a unanimous decision and handed Perry the second defeat of his professional mixed martial arts career.

Mike Perry locked horns with Mike Perry on February 24, 2018. The duo fought each other on the main card of UFC on Fox Emmett vs. Stephens. Griffin secured a unanimous decision victory in the fight resulting in Perry’s third professional defeat in mixed martial arts.

Vicente Luque and Mike Perry met at UFC Fight Night: Shevchenko vs. Carmouche 2 on August 10, 2019, in the event’s co-main event. After a grueling and bloodied match in which Perry suffered a gruesome injury to his nose, Luque was able to win the fight by split decision. Perry’s loss in the fight is his fifth professional defeat of his professional mixed martial arts career.

Geoff Neal vs. Mike Perry

Mike Perry and Geoff Neal faced each other on the preliminary card of the UFC 245 in a welterweight showdown on December 14, 2019. Neal defeated him by a first-round TKO resulting in Perry’s sixth professional mixed martial arts defeat.
