Rookies are often among the most exciting fantasy football players to target in drafts, but also some of the most challenging to make projections for. It's relatively unknown what their roles will be in their offenses and how their skills will translate to the NFL. Some are more equipped than others to provide fantasy value, including the following top-10 rookies for the 2024 season.

#10 - Brock Bowers

Brock Bowers is an elite tight end prospect but will enter a difficult situation with the Las Vegas Raiders. Wide receiver Davante Adams commands a large target share, while the Raiders also drafted Michael Mayer last year. Bowers' workload makes him a risky pick this year, though his upside is massive.

#9 - Xavier Worthy

Xavier Worthy set a new record by running the fastest 40-yard dash time in NFL Combine history. He now gets the opportunity to play with Patrick Mahomes in the Kansas City Chiefs' dominant passing game. This gives him plenty of upside, though he has many other players to compete with for targets on a loaded roster.

#8 - Jonathon Brooks

Jonathon Brooks is expected to miss the beginning of the 2024 fantasy football season as he continues to recover from a knee injury. When he returns, he is likely to take over as the Carolina Panthers' starting running back. He may bring late-season value for managers who can afford to be patient with him.

#7 - Ladd McConkey

Ladd McConkey has an opportunity to be the Los Angeles Chargers' WR1 after they moved on from Keenan Allen and Mike Williams. If he can capitalize on his situation with elite passer Justin Herbert, he could be valuable in fantasy football this year.

#6 - Rome Odunze

Rome Odunze was one of the top wide receiver prospects in the 2024 NFL draft, but he will be playing in a difficult situation with the Chicago Bears. D.J. Moore and Keenan Allen have traditionally commanded a ton of targets during their careers, so it's unclear what kind of workload Odunze will receive. If he carves out a large enough role, he has the talent to be a solid fantasy football option.

#5 - Jayden Daniels

Jayden Daniels has the dynamic dual-threat skillset that is always desirable in fantasy football. The one issue with his outlook is that the Washington Commanders lack depth in their wide receiver room. Daniels has the upside to be a breakout player in fantasy football this year but also has bust potential.

#4 - Keon Coleman

Keon Coleman could be one of the biggest sleepers in 2024 fantasy football. He is projected to be the WR1 for the Buffalo Bills this year after they moved on from Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis. Considering he has one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL with Josh Allen, Coleman has one of the highest ceilings of any rookie this season.

#3 - Caleb Williams

Caleb Williams will enter an ideal situation with the Chicago Bears. He is expected to be their Week 1 starter and the franchise used the offseason to surround him with as many offensive weapons as possible. His combination of rushing and passing skills, paired with a strong offense around him, gives him a high ceiling in fantasy football.

#2 - Malik Nabers

Malik Nabers is another elite wide receiver prospect who has an ideal situation during his rookie season. He is fully expected to be the WR1 for the New York Giants, who severely lack offensive weapons. It's reasonable to expect him to be their featured player this year, making him an attractive target in fantasy drafts.

#1 - Marvin Harrison Jr.

Marvin Harrison Jr. is widely considered one of the highest-rated wide receiver prospects of this generation. He has all the tools to be a true WR1 and the Arizona Cardinals appear committed to giving him an opportunity to be exactly that this year.

He also has a strong quarterback situation with Kyler Murray and limited target competition, so his upside is among the highest of any wide receiver. Harrison has an ADP of 16 (via Fantasy Pros) as the WR9, so while he has the best potential, he could be a risk if taken too early.
