CeeDee Lamb established himself as the Dallas Cowboys' number three wide receiver

Dallas Cowboys would select wide receiver CeeDee Lamb with their 17th pick in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Lamb would spend three seasons with the Oklahoma Sooners before making the jump to the NFL. All three years at Oklahoma he would be an integral part of their success.

CeeDee Lamb's Career Stats at Oklahoma:

  • Receptions: 173
  • Receiving yards: 3,292 yards
  • Touchdowns: 32

CeeDee Lamb would also record a rushing touchdown at Oklahoma and in his freshman year he would throw for a touchdown. Lamb would be a 2019 Consensus All-American. His best season was his junior year where he would record 1,327 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns on 62 receptions for the Sooners.

CeeDee Lamb's NFL Rookie Season

CeeDee Lamb would start every game for the Dallas Cowboys in his NFL rookie season. Lamb would finish the 2020 NFL Season just behind Amari Cooper in receiving yards for the Dallas Cowboys. He would tie Cooper and Gallup in receiving touchdowns.

CeeDee Lamb's 2020 NFL Season Stats:

  • Receptions: 74
  • Receiving yards: 935 yards
  • Touchdowns: 5

Lamb would also add 82 rushing yards and a touchdown on 10 carries in his rookie year. CeeDee Lamb would set a career high in receiving yards against the New York Giants in Week 5. He would record his first two receiving touchdown performance against the Cleveland Browns in Week 4.

Out of the 16 games that CeeDee Lamb started for the Cowboys he would only go one game without recording a reception. Dallas would use Lamb in many different ways in his rookie year. He brings the Dallas Cowboys offense a different look and more options.

CeeDee Lamb could potentially become the Cowboys number two wide receiver in the next year. Amari Cooper has established himself as a number one. If the Cowboys are able to resign Dak Prescott it would really benefit all three Cowboys wide outs. Cooper, Gallup and Lamb all play better football when Dak is on the field at quarterback.

In the 2021 NFL Season we can look for the Cowboys to enter more packages that will let CeeDee Lamb make moves in space. He is most effective when he is in the open field. Dallas will implement more jet sweeps, wide receiver screens and possibly a wildcat package with just him and Zeke.

Chase Young has been everything the Washington Football Team thought he would be

Washington Football Team would draft defensive end Chase Young with their second overall pick in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Chase Young's Career Stats at Ohio State:

  • Total Tackles: 98

He would lead the Big Ten in tackles for loss. He would also lead the NCAA in sacks, fumbles forced, and would be ranked fourth in the NCAA in tackles for loss. Chase Young was labeled as a generational talent and he has proved that to be true.

Chase Young's NFL Rookie Season

Chase Young has put together a great rookie season for the Washington Football Team. Their defense is full of young talent on the defensive line. Young stepped right in and proved to be a leader.

In his rookie season Chase Young would be selected to the NFL Pro Bowl game in just his first season with Washington. Young would only miss one start in his rookie season in Washington. If one thing Washington can be happy about is that the future is bright for the rookie defensive end.

Chase Young's 2020 NFL Season Stats:

  • Total Tackles: 44
  • Sacks: 7.5
  • Forced Fumbles: 4
  • Fumble Recoveries: 3

  • Touchdowns: 1

Chase Young has the mindset to be great and has the skill set to be a future Hall-of-Famer. He has lived up to all the draft hype that came along with him in the 2020 NFL Draft. Washington should be optimistic about his future and their future on defense.

Chase has a good opportunity to become one of the elite defensive lineman in the NFL in the 2021 NFL Season. With Ron Rivera being the head coach it gives Young a great defensive minded coach. We could see Chase Young record double digit sacks in his second year in the NFL.
