Over the years, a great deal of players have suited up for both the San Francisco 49ers and the Oakland/Los Angeles/Las Vegas Raiders. The list includes players like Jim Plunkett, Rod Woodson, Roger Craig, Bill Romanowski, and Randy Moss.

Jimmy Garoppolo can be added to the list next season. The free agent quarterback recently agreed to a three-year, $67.5 million deal with the Raiders. He has played the last six seasons with the 49ers, leading the team to an appearance in Super Bowl LIV.

Three players in no particular order who have played for both the 49ers and Raiders

Michael Crabtree

Michael Crabtree was selected by San Francisco with the 10th overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. The 6'1" wide receiver out of Texas Tech sported red and gold for six seasons.

He enjoyed the best season of his career in 2012, racking up 85 catches, 1,105 receiving yards, and nine touchdowns.

Crabtree signed with the Oakland Raiders before the 2015 season and played three years for the Silver and Black. In 2016, he produced the second and last 1,000 receiving-yard campaign of his career.

Ronnie Lott

Definitely one of the NFL's greatest safeties of all time, the hard-hitting Ronnie Lott played for the Niners from 1981-1990. He won four Super Bowls during the 80s, teaming up with fellow Hall of Famer Joe Montana.

Lott signed as a free agent with the Los Angeles Raiders in 1991. He played two seasons with the team, leading the league in interceptions and making his 10th and final Pro Bowl during the 1991 campaign.

The USC product later returned to the 49ers in 1995, but retired before the season began.

Jerry Rice

The great Jerry Rice is undoubtedly the greatest wide receiver in NFL history. He might even be the greatest player ever.

Rice, of course, is mostly-known for his days with the 49ers, who he spent the majority of his career with. In San Francisco, he won three Super Bowls, a Super Bowl MVP, and two Offensive Player of the Year awards. He's achieved a lot more than that, but there are way too many accolades to list.

After spending the first 16 years of his career as a 49er, Rice stayed in the Bay Area and joined the Oakland Raiders in 2001. He played four seasons with the Raiders, earning a Pro Bowl selection and helping the team reach a Super Bowl.
