Gardner Minshew's fantasy outlook for Week 16
Due to starter quarterback Hurts' shoulder injury, Minshew will be thrust into action this week. He has only made a few brief appearances, showing up in three games this season.
He has only thrown for 34 yards in three games. Expect the Eagles to rely heavily on their running game in this contest because the Cowboys have a decent passing defense.
It's risky to rely on Gardner Minshew making his first start of the season against a fairly good Cowboys defense. If you're still competing this late in the season, you're probably in the playoffs.
He ought to make a few passes and be useful in the game, but getting him started against the Cowboys is not advisable. It would be better if you bench him this week.
