Top 3 NFL superstars who are out with an injury

Which injury will cause the most impact?

#3 - Jared Goff

Calling Jared Goff a superstar wouldn't be the correct designation, but regardless, Goff is currently going to be out for the Detroit Lions and Cleveland Browns game.

The Lions nearly logged their first win last week but instead tied with the Steelers in overtime. They officially will not be the first team to go 0-17 in a season.

The Lions are taking on an ailing team that is the Browns but would likely have a better shot at winning with Goff at the helm. Unfortunately, Goff will not be able to make it, as he is dealing with an oblique injury.

#2 - Kyler Murray

Kyler Murray is officially going to be a game-time decision, but the growing consensus is that he will not be able to suit up for today's game. The Cardinals would be wise to allow their superstar quarterback to fully heal before releasing him back onto the field.

As much as Murray will likely want to play, it would not be a smart idea for him to rush through an injury when the Cardinals can afford to lose a couple and remain in first place in the NFC West.

Murray has been dealing with an ankle injury the past few weeks and should take all the time he can to fully heal. Colt McCoy will likely start again this week.

#1 - Lamar Jackson

On top of already losing Marquise Brown and Latavius Murray, the Ravens are getting hit with dealing with multiple-player injury news. Lamar Jackson has been dealing with a non-covid related sickness and that sickness has held him out of practice for the week.

The Ravens were hoping that he would be well enough to start today's game against the Chicago Bears, but he has officially been ruled out of the game due to whatever virus is working its way through the Ravens' locker room. Although losing Jackson is a massive blow, the Ravens should still be up to the challenge of facing a Bears team without star pass rusher Khalil Mack.
