5 teams Tom Brady is undefeated against in NFL playoffs: Kansas City Chiefs, Pittsburgh Steelers, and more

Super Bowl LV
Tom Brady #12 of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers shouts as he takes the field before Super Bowl LV against the Kansas City Chiefs at Raymond James Stadium on February 07, 2021 in Tampa, Florida.

Tom Brady is one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, and it's time we did a deep dive into the NFL teams that have been on the receiving end of his threat in the playoffs.

It is important to note that on this list, we won't be counting teams that he has a solitary playoff win against. Rather, we will showcase the teams that Brady has been to twice or more at the business end of the NFL season. Our sincerest apologies if your favorite team is here and got smoked by TB12.

So without further ado, here are the GOAT's most frequent playoff customers.

Five teams Tom Brady Is Undefeated against in NFL Playoffs

5. Houston Texans, 2-0

The Houston Texans always seem to be in the running for the first overall pick of the NFL Draft. However, there used to be a time when the Texans were playoff regulars and dark horses for the later stages.

However, they always seemed to stumble upon QBs in their prime, the chief of which was Tom Brady. Brady never let the Texans out of his grasp, and he handed them two painful Ls during his time in New England.

4. Pittsburgh Steelers, 3-0

The Pittsburgh Steelers were one of the last decade's most dominant postseason teams, but they truly peaked a decade earlier. That was when big Ben Roethlisberger led his side to Super Bowl wins in 2005 and 2008. But that was as good as they got.

This is because a certain QB in the New England Patriots wouldn't just let them have their moment. Tom Brady and his mates bounced the Steelers out of the playoffs three gut-wrenching times.

3. Jacksonville Jaguars, 3-0

The Jaguars have only made the playoffs eight times in their 28 years as an NFL franchise. Tom Brady has eliminated them in three out of those eight years. That sums up the one-sided dynamic of their relationship. Luckily for the Jaguars, it will take quite some time for them to face off against Brady in the not-too-distant future.

2. Los Angeles Chargers, 3-0

We are convinced that high-level QBs must be licking their lips anytime they find out they'll face the Chargers in the playoffs. Just look at what happened two nights ago when they blew away for a staggering 27-0 lead.

Brady probably also licked his lips as the former Patriot bounced the Chargers out of the playoffs three times while he played for New England.

1. Kansas City Chiefs, 3-0

What must the Chiefs do to beat a Brady-led side in the playoffs? They failed when they had an offensive juggernaut in Tony Gonzalez, and they still need to improve with a Patrick Mahomes-led unit.

Possibly no failure was more painful than the 2020 Super Bowl when Tom Brady led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to an emphatic victory at the Tampa Bay Stadium. The match stung because the Bucs absolutely steamrolled the Chiefs. Brady and the Chiefs might meet again later in this year's postseason, but they shouldn't raise their hopes.
