Aaron Rodgers made his much-awaited appearance on the Pat McAfee Show today. He was widely expected to announce the decision regarding his future, but the Green Bay Packers quarterback is looking to take more time.

However, Rodgers didn't shy away from taking a dig at the Packers organization for already deciding to move on from him. Here's what Rodgers said on the Pat McAfee Show:

"It was clear to me at that point, although they were gonna say the right thing publicly, they were ready to move on.. the facts are they want to move on, and now, so do I."

Rodgers also spoke about his successor Jordan Love and had some positive words for him. Here's what he said:

"Jordan (Love) is going to be a great player, he's a great kid, they got a good young team."

Aaron Rodgers won't be returning to the Green Bay Packers at any cost, as he has indicated that he wants to play for the New York Jets next season. This news will certainly excite many in New York, who have been waiting to hear this for a long time.

Rodgers is still capable of playing at an elite level, and the Jets will undoubtedly surround him with a team to contend with. The Jets players are already eager for the veteran quarterback and are looking forward to the trade getting completed.

The New York Jets have already signed Allen Lazard, the former Packers receiver, to a four-year deal. The deal indicated that Rodgers is edging closer to the Jets, and the four-time NFL MVP will have a familiar face to work with him on his new team.
