Alvin Kamara has had a phenomenal start to the season. In three games, he has rushed for 285 yards and four touchdowns on 61 carries, averaging 4.7 yards per carry. He also has 10 receptions for 132 yards and a touchdown.
Unfortunately, Kamara is dealing with a hip and rib injury. He did not practice on Wednesday, and there were serious doubts about his availability for Week 4. He did return to practice on Thursday but is listed as questionable for Sunday's game.
The Saints are 2-1 and will face the Atlanta Falcons in Week 4. This is a big game against a division rival for New Orleans, and Kamara will likely try his best to be out on the field.

The Saints started the season off by scoring a total of 91 points in their first two games but were restricted to only 12 points during Week 3's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Derek Carr and Co. will hope to bounce back against the Falcons and show the world that their first two wins of the season were no fluke, and that they are indeed a contending team this year.

Alvin Kamara injury: A look at Saints depth chart

As mentioned earlier, although Alvin Kamara returned to practice on Thursday, there is no certainty that he will play against the Falcons. Just 24 hours ago, there were serious doubts about his availability in Week 4, and that should be kept in mind while planning your fantasy football lineups.
The Saints running back depth chart looks like this heading into Week 4:
- RB1: Alvin Kamara
- RB2: Jamaal Williams
- RB3: Jordan Mims
Jamaal Williams is a good replacement option for the Saints if Kamara is not cleared to play. He has rushed for 76 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries this season, averaging 3.8 yards per carry.
The Saints are dealing with a plethora of injuries. Most importantly, they will be without starting center Erik McCoy, who was placed on the injured reserve earlier this week.
The game between the Falcons and the Saints promises to be a good one, as the race to win the NFC South is wide open, and both teams have shown signs of improvement this year.
