The New York Giants opened the scoring with a two-yard pass from Drew Lock to Tyrone Tracy Jr. in the end zone. Graham Gano scored the extra point to give them a 7-0 lead at 14:53 in the second quarter.
Riley Patterson, who missed his first field goal attempt of the game, redeemed himself with a 52-yard kick to cut the lead to 7-3.

On the very next drive, Drew Lock was intercepted by Jessie Bates III for a 55-yard touchdown. Patterson completed the extra point to extend the Falcons' lead to 10-7.
At 1:48 in the second quarter, Bijan Robinson found his way to the end zone with a four-yard rushing touchdown to add six more points to the scoreboard. Riley Patterson kicked the third extra point to send the Falcons up 17-7 at halftime.

Patterson added three more points with a 37-yard field goal at 10:47 in the fourth quarter to secure the 34-7 win in Michael Penix Jr.'s first NFL start. The Falcons improved to 8-7 to stay close to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ahead of the final two games of the season.
