If Christmas is the time for trading gifts, then Lamar Jackson gave NFL fans a treat. With a strong performance and many great plays, the Ravens quarterback led his team to an excellent performance, with a 17-2 score during halftime and a beautiful touchdown thrown by the quarterback.
On the other hand, Stroud and the Texans were stuck on offense during the first half, scoring points only through a safety, but not even netting a field goal during the time.

He did not even have to pass a lot. With another great exhibition, the Ravens quarterback solidified his case for the MVP award one more time. He made great plays, and with the defense allowing no points on Wednesday, Baltimore was able to rest him for almost the entire fourth quarter.

The Ravens knew that Henry would represent a mismatch, and they had no shame in running him for most of the game, with almost double his rushes than Jackson's throws. He scored a touchdown and had many good runs during the game, averaging 5.4 yards per carry at the end of the night.

Stroud is struggling and missing throws badly. Houston is not producing well on offense, with many fans and analysts calling for offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik to be fired from his job. The explosive element from the offense is gone; the only points on Christmas came from a safety.

Whenever Joe Mixon has a bad game, Houston can't establish any kind of offense. Against a strong Baltimore Ravens defense, who entered the game averaging just 3.6 yards per carry (lowest in the league), he did not reach the 30-yard mark, confirming a miserable night for the Houston Texans.

About the author
Henrique Bulio
Henrique Bulio is an NFL and College Football journalist at Sportskeeda and the Editor-in-Chief of Pro Football Brasil. He has a total 13 years of experience working in American Football, and playing quarterback at an amateur level in Brazil has given him a unique perspective of the game.
Henrique follows the Philadelphia Eagles closely due to Michael Vick's historic performance on MNF against the Washington Commanders in 2010. His all-time favorite player is Ed Reed; he believes that Reed is the greatest safety to ever play the game. Bill Belichick gets the nod as Henrique's favorite coach for coaching the Patriots to glory over two decades.
If Henrique were to be able to go back in time and watch one game, it would be Super Bowl XLIX, where the Patriots and the Seahawks played a complete, back-and-forth game that concluded with one of the biggest talking points in NFL history.
Technical deep dives are Henrique’s specialty, and he ensures never to use misleading words in his articles, since he himself consumes a lot of information off the web. He has had the privilege of interviewing Cairo Santos, Lamar Jackson, Jim Harbaugh, Sean McDermott, Bruce Arians, Matt LaFleur, among others.
Aside from football, Henrique likes to play poker and Counter-Strike.
