The Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers are set to battle in primetime, and fans are in for a treat. It wasn't how the schedule makers drew it up, but fans will get a nostalgic 2010s-era blockbuster matchup between Aaron Rodgers and Joe Flacco. As such, fantasy football managers will need to ask themselves whether they want to invest their starters in the game and, if so, how much.

The Steelers and Bengals have been on two different ends of fortune thus far this season when it comes to their quarterback situations. However, the rest of both rosters are close to being in Day 1 shape. As such, expect a familiar-feeling contest put on by two quarterbacks who were not under center the last time these two teams met.

Since the start of the 2022 season, only one matchup between the two teams has not ended in a one-possession difference. As such, expect another tight contest between the two, with the Steelers coming out on top. The Steelers have been one of the top teams in the AFC this season, and their momentum will carry the team past the Bengals.

Prediction: Pittsburgh 28, Cincinnati 20

Joe Flacco, QB, Cincinnati Bengals

Joe Flacco didn't win against Aaron Rodgers' former Green Bay Packers unit in his previous outing, but it was still his best game of the season. Expect a similar level of production this week against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The team ranks in the bottom six in yards per game, giving the chance for an electric Ja'Marr Chase day and a showing that gives Flacco fans plenty of hope. Fantasy football managers are set to benefit as well.

DK Metcalf, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers

DK Metcalf is facing the 31st-best passing defense in the NFL, setting the stage for a big night. Calvin Austin is listed as out on the Pittsburgh Steelers injury report, so even more targets could be sent Metcalf's way, paving the way for a great night.

Metcalf has proven to be able to handle extra attention in his career, and combined with Aaron Rodgers' accuracy, expect plenty of production for the receiver who has caught a touchdown in each of his last four games.

Jaylen Warren, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers

Jaylen Warren returned as the RB1 in Pittsburgh on Sunday, receiving more carries than Kenneth Gainwell by a nearly 2:1 ratio. Expect the pattern to continue as Warren gets ready to face the 32nd-ranked rushing defense in the NFL. Warren is set to have a strong night and remain relevant throughout the contest.

Of course, if DK Metcalf is surging, Warren might not see as many touches if Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers elect to focus on the pass game in the contest in primetime. Either way, Warren is a must-start tonight.
