AFC Wild Card Playoffs - Miami Dolphins v Buffalo Bills

The eagerly-awaited AFC Divisional playoff game between the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals is scheduled for Sunday. The Bengals and Bills made it past the opening round of the playoffs to face off again.

Week 17's matchup between the two teams was delayed and ultimately called off due to Damar Hamlin’s cardiac arrest. As a result, neither team could advance further in their respective conferences or unseat the Kansas City Chiefs as the top seed in the AFC playoffs, which impacted the entire NFL postseason system.

One of the finest teams in the NFL at preventing the running game has been the Buffalo Bills. It will be challenging for the Bengals to gain any progress against the Bills' defensive line, which is made up of Matt Milano, Shaq Lawson, Ed Oliver and Greg Rousseau. The Bills are strong enough to defeat any other team in the league due to their abundance of offensive skill potential and the presence of defensive players capable of putting out strong performances.

Each team has weaknesses that may cause them to lose in the playoffs. For example, the Bengals last suffered a loss in October, but now there are some worrying offensive line problems. The Bills, on the other hand, are still known for letting weaker opposition stay in the game for far too long (as was the case against the Dolphins in the Wild Card round), largely due to persistent turnover issues.

Nevertheless, Buffalo and Cincinnati are two top clubs that are still alive in the playoffs. Moreover, they both reached the playoffs as two of just three teams to defeat number 1 seed Kansas City this campaign.

Joe Burrow, the quarterback for the Bengals, is their strongest asset and a key factor in their nine-game winning streak. Cincinnati is expected to try and ride alongside Burrow against Buffalo throughout Sunday's game. He will have all of his weaponry back on the field and has been performing at an excellent level.

It seems strange to assume that the Buffalo Bills, who are currently riding an eight-game hot streak, are the underdogs going into their divisional-round meeting against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Where will the Buffalo Bills need to improve to win?

The Bills have been close a few times, but they last made it to the Super Bowl in 1993.

Josh Allen, the Buffalo Bills quarterback, might not be able to lead his team to a win against the Bengals on Sunday if he keeps fumbling the ball at crucial moments.

The Bills rank second in points scored and allowed this season, compared to the Bengals' rankings of sixth and seventh in those categories. The fact that the Bills are 8-1 at home this year, including the playoffs, gives them another advantage. Fans may hope that the Bills will triumph in what is predicted to be a competitive, high-scoring contest between the two dominant teams.
