Cleveland Browns' injury report for Week 4

Cleveland Browns' RB Jeremy Ford (knee), DE Myles Garrett (Foot, Achilles, Thigh), and TE David Njoku (Ankle) were all able to log limited practice participations on Thursday after not participating at all on Wednesday.

While we still don't know what that limited participation means for the other two, Njoku has now been ruled out for the trip to Las Vegas, according to NFL Insider Ari Meirov on Friday.

Meirov also stated in his report that LT Jedrick Wills (Knee), RT Jack Conklin (hamstring), and RB Pierre Strong Jr. (hamstring) won't be available for the Week 4 game as they have all been ruled out due to injuries.

The Browns placed guard Wyatt Teller on injured reserve on Wednesday due to a knee injury, according to head coach Kevin Stefanski. The right guard will now have to miss at least four games after his Week 3 setback against the New York Giants.

David Njoku's injury puts him away

David Njoku will not play in Week 4 against the Raiders for the Cleveland Browns because of an ankle injury, head coach Kevin Stefanski revealed ahead of Friday's practice.

Njoku sustained the ankle injury in Week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys and has now been kept out of the last two games. However, he made a limited comeback to practice on Thursday. It's unclear if the tight end reaggravated the injury on Thursday, but he won't be practicing on Friday.

Myles Garrett unfazed despite his injury

Cleveland Browns' pass rusher Myles Garrett missed practice on Wednesday due to thigh, ankle, and Achilles problems. He did, however, have limited participation on Thursday, which improved his chances of taking part in Week 4.

In a discussion with reporters on Thursday, Garrett seemed to indicate that he would be participating in Sunday's game against the Raiders.

"I try to spend every moment preparing my body for the rigors of the season," Garrett said. "Sometimes, I have some bumps and bruises like I have right now. So, an injured animal is the fiercest, so I'm going to be at my best."

If the Raiders hope to move past their disappointing 1-2 start to the season, Garrett must be healthy and playing well, starting from Week 4.

Wyatt Teller's injury status

Guard Wyatt Teller, who continues to battle a knee issue, was placed on the injured reserve list on Wednesday.

Teller sustained a right knee injury in the third quarter of the game against the New York Giants in Week 3. Following the game, Kevin Stefanski said that Teller's comeback will take multiple weeks.

The Week 9 matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers on November 3 would be the quickest the three-time Pro Bowler could return. That contest takes place just before the Browns' Week 10 bye.
