Dallas Goedert missed the Philadelphia Eagles' game against the New York Giants due to a hamstring injury he sustained in Week 6. The tight end's potential return for Week 8 is now a concern for fantasy managers.

There are concerns that Goedert won't be available for the Eagles' Week 8 game against the Cincinnati Bengals after missing the team's most recent practice. According to NFL Insider Adam Schefter, the Eagles have ruled out Goedert for Sunday game.

When available, Goedert has been a key member of the Eagles' blocking and passing game this season. He recorded 170 yards in the Week 3 game against the New Orleans Saints, which is his most significant performance this campaign.

Grant Calcaterra, who now leads the team's tight end group in snaps over the past two games, has stepped up in Goedert's place. Jack Stoll has also had a significant number of snaps.

Goedert's practice participation level on Thursday and Friday should be closely monitored by fantasy managers and Eagles supporters as it will likely provide further insight into his possible availability status for Week 8.

Dallas Goedert is a great asset in fantasy football and likely will reclaim his place as a major component of the Eagles' attack if he makes a comeback against the Bengals.

Dallas Goedert injury update: What happened to the Eagles TE?

Tight end Dallas Goedert sustained a hamstring injury during the first sequence of the Philadelphia Eagles' 20-16 win over the Cleveland Browns in Week 6.

Goedert stayed in the sideline medical room for a while after the injury before going inside. He didn't come back for the remainder of the game, so Grant Calcaterra and Jack Stoll filled in for him at tight end.

Dallas Goedert, who has 24 receptions for 301 yards this season, was sidelined for the Eagles' Week 7 game against the New York Giants because of that injury. In addition, he hasn't started practicing in any way since suffering the hamstring injury.

The 29-year-old tight end is not showing positive signs that he will play in Week 8 when the Eagles are scheduled to play against the Bengals. He will have two more opportunities to clock some practice work this week.
