DeVante Parker career earnings: How much did ex-Dolphins WR make in NFL?

DeVante Parker has called time on his NFL career. The former Louisville star enjoyed a productive time in the league during his career.

This article will examine how much Parker earned in his NFL career.

According to Spotrac, DeVante Parker earned $54,135,496 in his NFL career. The skillful pass catcher earned $41,183,153 playing for the Miami Dolphins and $12,952,343 as a member of the New England Patriots. He had just signed a one-year, $1.21 million contract with the Philadelphia Eagles this offseason.

Parker alternated between backup and starter in his career, which makes the $54,135,496 that he received even more impressive.

DeVante Parker enjoyed a nine-year NFL career

The Miami Dolphins drafted Parker in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft. Parker was drafted after an impressive collegiate football career at Louisville.

Parker spent the first seven years of his professional career with the Miami Dolphins. He was unable to cement a starting spot in his first four years in Miami as he started just 31 of his first 53 games.

Parker's best season was 2019, a year in which he showed the Dolphins what he could do as a first-option pass catcher. Parker finished the season with 1,202 receiving yards and nine touchdowns.

If there's any knock on Parker's time with the Dolphins, he only reached the postseason once during his time with the franchise that drafted him. That came in 2016, and they were quickly eliminated from the playoffs.

Following the 2019 season, Parker spent two more years with the Miami Dolphins before he departed the franchise to try his luck at New England. Parker lasted two seasons with the Patriots, where he started 24 of his 26 games played. He caught 64 balls for 933 yards with three touchdowns.

But despite starting all 13 games he played for New England last season, DeVante Parker had one of his least productive seasons as a professional. He had just 394 receiving yards - his lowest total since 2018 - and did not record a touchdown catch for the first time in his career.
