Week 3 was somewhat of a mixed bag for a number of running backs with Josh Jacobs among the big names who were bottled up by opposing defenses. But with injuries piling up across the board, there is an opportunity for some of these names to register big numbers in Week 4. Here's a look at Devin Singletary, Josh Jacobs and Rhamondre Stevenson's fantasy projections for the week.

Devin Singletary fantasy outlook

We're inclined to buy low on Singletary heading into Week 4. The Giants offense is clearly nowhere close to being a concern for opposing defenses week in and week out but Singletary did register some impressive numbers against a stoud Cleveland Browns defense. He led the Giants' rushing attack with 16 carries for 65 yards and one touchdown, though in all honestly that tally should have been two. The highlight from those 16 carries was a run of 43 yards to settle the game in the Giants' favor.

Interestingly, he also had 43 receiving yards on four catches on Sunday. After some initial hiccups, this Giants offense looks like it could find a way to gain some momentum. And with Malik Nabers also impressing, we could possibly see another facet to this offense with Singletary involved.

Josh Jacobs fantasy outlook

Jacobs was a bust in Week 3, there's no other way to put it. And it's a shame, too. The Titans defense bottled the league's former leading rusher on Sunday. He racked up a mere 43 rushing yards on 14 carries while bagging his only target for a five-yard reception. This was arguably Jacobs' worst game in a Packers uniform.

In any other week, there would have been no way to go but up but the Packers will have to go up against a Brian Flores defense that just locked up C.J. Stroud, Stefon Diggs and Nico Collins. Jacobs is still a good shout for RB1 but this week's matchup is a little tough. We are likely to see similar numbers from the Pro Bowl running back this week.

Rhamondre Stevenson fantasy outlook

Thursday Night Football was a rough time to be a Patriots fan as they were blown out by Aaron Rodgers' Jets straight up.

If we're being honest, there's just not a lot to like about this Patriots offense. Stevenson had just 23 yards on the ground against New York in addition to a fumble. He also failed to record a single catch in the blowout loss, meaning fantasy managers who started him in Week 3 were left to rue their decision. Week 4's matchup isn't much better for the Patriots. They will go up against a Niners defense that just gave up 27 points to a beat-up Rams. This could be the Niners' bounceback game after that close loss, so don't bet on Stevenson to deliver this week.

Sportskeeda's Who Should I Start analyzer is a little higher than we are on Jacobs. It's a tough matchup and Brian Flores' defenses have been known to give offensive personnel a tough time. Singletary's matchup against Dallas may be the one to exploit in Week 4.
