Fantasy football managers are expecting a wide receiver battle between Drake London and Chris Olave as the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons face each other in Week 4 of the 2024 NFL. The NFC South matchup has a lot of potential and may come down to which quarterback uses their available weapons better.

The Falcons are entering this game with a 1-2 record and the jury is out on how good they actually are. They were toothless in offense in their opening week loss to the Steelers, before winning in the second week against the Eagles on the back of a morale-boosting touchdown drive by Kirk Cousins during the final two-minute warning. In Week 3, they lost a close encounter to the Chiefs, who are the reigning Super Bowl Champions.

The Saints began the 2024 NFL season in a hurry and accumulated a 2-0 record after Week 2. They dispatched the Panthers and the Cowboys in successive weeks, recording 91 points in the process. But they were playing against a team that still had Bryce Young as their starting quarterback followed by a defense that is giving up rushing yards at will. In Week 3, their momentum came crashing down against a spirited Eagles.

Therefore, fantasy football managers must consider carefully before they choose between Drake London and Chris Olave.

Is Drake London a good pick in Week 4?

Drake London has begun the 2024 NFL season slowly but seems to be showing continuous improvement. After the opening week, when the entire offense, led by new starting quarterback Kirk Cousins seemed to struggle, he has gradually improved.

In Week 1, London had 15 yards and no touchdowns in two attempts. In Week 2, he had 54 yards and a touchdown in six attempts. By Week 3, he had accomplished 67 reception yards and a touchdown with the same number of catches as the previous match. His target numbers, yards, and touchdowns are all trending upward even though the Falcons have failed to win consecutive games.

Fantasy football owners of Drake London might see this as a positive sign.

Is Chris Olave a good pick in Week 4?

Chris Olave has followed a similar trajectory to London so far in the 2024 NFL season. In Week 1, he had a couple of targets as well and recorded just 11 yards and no touchdowns. In his second week, he had four targets for 81 yards but failed to find the endzone. Last week, even as the Saints lost, he managed to score a touchdown and accumulate 86 yards on six receptions.

Chris Olave's target count, receiving yards, and touchdowns are also gradually improving week-on-week. However, fantasy football managers should also consider that he picked up a hamstring injury in practice and is, therefore, considered a gameday decision.
