Evan Engram and the Jacksonville Jaguars face the Buffalo Bills on Monday. They will aim to secure the season's first win following defeats against the Miami Dolphins and Cleveland Browns.
The Jaguars offense has struggled and missing Engram in a game with big ramifications would put them in a complex position against the undefeated AFC East team.
Evan Engram injury update: What happened to Jaguars tight end?
Even though he'll have eight days of rest when the Jaguars take on the Bills Monday night, Evan Engram's hamstring issue doesn't appear to be going away anytime soon. The former New York Giants tight end picked up the injury during pregame warmups ahead of Jacksonville's 18-13 loss against the Browns last Sunday.

Coach Doug Pederson didn't sound confident about Engram's availability for Monday's game.
“Evan, right now, he’s a little bit further away,” Perderson said. “So we’ll have to take it kind of day-by-day with him right now.”
Engram didn't participate in Thursday's practice, meaning he'll have two more chances to take on the field before the Jaguars travel to Buffalo for their Monday night matchup. For the season, Engram has only caught one pass for five yards. The Jaguars have Luke Farrell, Patrick Murtagh and Brenton Strange in the tight end room.
Against the Browns, Strange played 41 snaps, collecting three catches for 65 yards. Farrell was on the field in 28 snaps, catching a couple of passes.
The Jaguars entered this season expected to compete for the AFC South title with the Houston Texans, but the season is off to a rough start. A win against the Bills would boost their confidence, but facing Josh Allen and company without Engram can be costly.
It remains to be seen if he'll be available to play, but as of right now, fantasy managers shouldn't count on Evan Engram.
